African Photo Week Conference 2026

We are pleased to introduce African Photo Week (APW), a premier pan-African creative platform dedicated to advancing photography, visual arts, and the broader creative industry across the African continent.

​African Photo Week emerged from the evolution of PCRiC Photo Club, a vibrant creative community that has nurtured and supported over 2,000 creatives between 2016 and 2025. Over the years, the community has grown into one of the most active photography networks in Africa, with over 50,000 members on our Facebook community and more than 600 active members across multiple WhatsApp groups. In 2025, the organization was officially rebranded as African Photo Week to broaden its vision and include creatives from diverse sectors of the African creative economy, including photography, filmmaking, digital media, fashion, design, and visual storytelling.

​African Photo Week is also formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria – Registration No. 9111738, reflecting our commitment to building a sustainable and professionally structured creative institution.

​Our flagship event, African Photo Week, is designed as a multi-day creative convergence bringing together photographers, filmmakers, artists, creative entrepreneurs, industry leaders, brands, and institutions from across Africa and beyond. The event features exhibitions, conferences, masterclasses, workshops, portfolio reviews, networking sessions, and awards celebrating excellence in African visual storytelling.

​Through this initiative, we aim to empower emerging talents, strengthen the creative economy, foster cross-border collaborations, and create meaningful opportunities for brands and organizations to engage with Africa’s rapidly growing creative community.
